So everyone out there is talking about this place you go to and write a public journal. My initial thought was "how weird... why would you want others to see your journal?" But I've been reading my dear friend Erica's blogs and have often wanted to post a reply to it. So I found myself signing up today in order to start replying to her blog. So thanks Erica for the inspiration! I'm finally out there doing this think they call "blogging".

yay! i'm so glad you have a blog now! i love reading people's blogs. makes me feel included in people's lives still even though i'm far away (or sometimes they're far away). i have to say that my initial thoughts on blogging was the same as yours, but i actually find it very freeing. i'm learning how to express what i'm thinking without caring what other people think. and my rule is, everything is fair game -- if i say something that offends someone, it's their problem not mine (not that i intentionally go out of my way to be mean or anything, because that's not me). anyway, i'm excited to start reading your blog! oh and i love your picture -- you look beautiful!
